GCash & Maya

Maya Casino Guide: Deposits, Withdrawals and Limits (2026)

Maya works a lot like GCash for casino payments: cashier only, your own upgraded account, and no agent in the middle. Plus, where to find your limits in the app.

Quick answer Use Maya only at the cashier of a PAGCOR-licensed casino, with an upgraded Maya account in your own name. Check your current limits in the Maya app under Account Limits, and never send money to an agent's personal Maya number.

Before you start

Same rules as GCash: licensed site, your own upgraded account, and a budget you're okay to lose.

  • Check the site's PAGCOR license, company name and domain with our PAGCOR license checker.
  • Make sure your Maya account, ID and casino account all use the same full name.
  • Set your budget and a deposit limit first. Our Laro Nang Tama tips help.
Heads up: In August 2025, the BSP ordered e-wallets to remove in-app links and icons to online gambling platforms, and Maya said it would comply. So the casino payment won't start from a shortcut inside the Maya app. If a licensed site supports Maya, it starts from the site's own cashier. Payment rules can change, so follow our News.

How to deposit with Maya (step-by-step)

Start inside your casino account, never in a chat. Not every site has a Maya option.

  1. Log in on the official domain you already checked.
  2. Open the Cashier or Deposit page.
  3. Choose Maya, if listed. If not, use another option the cashier shows, or skip the site.
  4. Enter an amount within your budget.
  5. Confirm on the payment screen or in the Maya app. Check the amount and merchant name before you approve.
  6. Save your proof: the Maya receipt with reference number, plus your casino deposit history.
Tip: Your Maya OTP and password stay with you. No legit casino support will ask for them.

Upgrade your Maya account and casino KYC

You'll want an upgraded Maya account and a verified casino account. They're separate processes.

Maya upgrade. According to Maya, upgrading needs a video selfie, a valid ID, and verified address and personal information. Maya also says upgraded accounts get higher limits than basic ones.

Casino KYC. Licensed casinos usually ask for an ID, and sometimes a selfie or proof of address, before your first withdrawal. Do it right after sign-up so your first payout isn't stuck. Use the exact same name as your Maya account.

How to withdraw to Maya (step-by-step)

Withdrawals start at the cashier and should land in a Maya account under your own name.

  1. Finish the casino's KYC.
  2. Check for an active bonus and its wagering requirement.
  3. Go to Cashier, then Withdraw, and choose Maya.
  4. Enter your registered Maya number and double-check it.
  5. Submit and save the withdrawal ID.
  6. Track the status, then check your Maya transaction history once it says paid.

Delayed? The usual reasons are the same as with GCash. Read why withdrawals get delayed for the fixes.

Maya limits: where to find them

Your real limits live in the Maya app, and that's where you should look. We don't print Maya limit numbers here, because they depend on your account type and can change. Maya even says your account limit grows as you transact more with Maya.

Maya's account limits page says you can check yours like this:

  1. Log in to your Maya account.
  2. Tap the profile button to open the menu.
  3. Select Account Limits.
  4. Browse the tabs to see your daily and monthly limits.

Check this before a big deposit or withdrawal. A payout that's bigger than your incoming limit can fail or bounce back.

GCash vs Maya for casinos

For casino use, the two work the same way where it matters. Here's a simple comparison using only things we could verify.

Red flags

Stop right away if you see any of these.

  • An "agent" asks you to send money to their personal Maya number.
  • You're asked to pay a "release fee", "tax" or "unlock fee" before payout.
  • Someone asks for your OTP, password or a screen share.
  • Promises of sure wins or "hack" patterns.

Maya is a payment provider regulated by the BSP. That doesn't mean Maya endorses or checks any casino, so it's still up to you to check the license.

FAQ

Can you use Maya at an online casino?

If the cashier of a PAGCOR-licensed casino has a Maya option, use it only there. Don't send money to an agent's personal Maya number.

Where can I find my Maya limits?

In the Maya app: log in, tap the profile button to open the menu, then choose Account Limits. You'll see your daily and monthly limits there.

Is Maya or GCash better for casinos?

Both are regulated by the BSP, and the safe way is the same: only through a licensed site's cashier. Pick the one you're verified or upgraded on, and the one the site supports.

Why hasn't my withdrawal reached my Maya yet?

Usually because KYC is still pending, the names on the casino and Maya don't match, a limit has been reached, or there's still bonus wagering left. Check the status at the cashier and contact the site's official support.
