How you win in Sugar Rush
It's cluster pays: you need 5 or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically. No paylines and no wild.
When a cluster wins, the symbols explode and new ones drop in (tumble). The spot where a symbol exploded gets marked. If another symbol explodes on the same spot, it becomes a multiplier spot that starts at x2 and doubles with each further explosion: x2, x4, x8, up to x128 in the original and x1,024 in the 1000. When a win has several multipliers, they're added together.
In the base game, the marks disappear after the spin. According to Bigwinboard, there's some kind of win in about 1 in 2.9 spins, but it's usually small.
Free spins and bonus buy
Multiplier spots are more powerful in free spins because they don't disappear until the round ends.
- Trigger: 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 scatters = 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 free spins. The average trigger is about 1 in 323 spins according to Bigwinboard.
- Retrigger: same scatter counts, same extra spins.
- Sticky spots: highlighted spots and multipliers stay until the end of free spins.
- Bonus buy: 100× in the original. In the 1000, there are 100× and 500× options; the 500× comes with x2 spots already set. Not available in every market.
RTP and volatility: what they mean for your budget
RTP applies over a huge number of spins, not your session. Note that the 1000 has different RTPs for the base game and the bonus buy, so "Sugar Rush's RTP" isn't just one number. Read the RTP explainer to understand the house edge.
Both are high volatility. According to Bigwinboard, the odds of the 5,000× max win in the original are 1 in 2,340,000, so treat it as almost theoretical.

Myths and common mistakes
- "There are lots of marked spots, so a big one is next." In the base game, the spots disappear after the spin. Nothing carries over.
- "The 97.50% version is better, so hunt for it." The site picks the version. Just check the info screen; don't believe "RTP hack" claims.
- "The super buy is a shortcut to the max win." It costs more and can return less than you paid.
- "Chase your losses to reach the bonus." This is the fastest way to blow past your budget.
