How it plays and how it pays
The system is scatter pays: a symbol wins when 8 or more of it land anywhere on the grid. They don't need to be adjacent or on a line.
There are collapsing reels: the winning groceries disappear, new ones drop in, and it repeats as long as there's a new win. If you're new to scatter pays, read our slots guide; compare it with cluster pays and ways in the slot games hub.
Features
The multiplier symbols are the most important feature, especially in free spins.
- Multiplier symbols in the base game. Worth 2× to 5×. All visible multipliers are added together and applied to the total win.
- Free spins. Three or more basket scatters award 10 free spins, +2 for each extra scatter. Inside the feature, two scatters add 5 spins.
- Multiplier in free spins. The range is higher, 5× to 50×, and they're also added together before being applied.
- Buy feature. Not mentioned in the source: not yet verified. If your site has one, it may be disabled on other sites.
Important: you still need a win for the multiplier to matter. A multiplier with no win alongside it pays nothing.
RTP, volatility and budget
At 96.71% RTP, the house edge is about 3.29% over the long run. It's an average over a huge number of spins; see our RTP explainer for the full explanation.
Just an example: ₱5 bet × 200 spins = ₱1,000 total wagered. ₱1,000 × 3.29% = about ₱32.90 expected cost over the long run. In a single session, your budget can run out if no multiplier lands together with a win.
The source rates the volatility medium. It suits a session with a fixed number of spins and no "one more" afterward. Read our volatility guide.
Myths and common mistakes
The most common mistake is counting multipliers even when there's no win.
- "Lots of multipliers on screen means a big win." Without 8+ matching symbols, they have no effect.
- "The multiplier goes up to 50×, so big wins are frequent." 50× is the highest value in free spins, and it doesn't usually appear.
- "The max win is low, so it's easy to reach." It's still 25,000×. Extremely rare.
- "The specs are the same on every site." We only have one source, so always check the info screen.
Where to play legally
Only play Supermarket Spree on a PAGCOR-licensed site. Lots of copies and fake "PG" sites circulate on social media, so the first check is the site itself, not the game.
- Check the exact site address with our PAGCOR license checker before you sign up.
- Only deposit through the site's own cashier. Never send money to an "agent's" personal GCash number. Read our safe GCash and Maya deposit guide for slots.
- Because verified data on this game is limited, the game's info and paytable screens on a licensed site are the most reliable reference.
