How it plays
According to SlotsJudge, you first pick a difficulty level: Junior, Expert or Godlike. Then you set your bet and shoot the fish swimming across the screen. When you catch a fish, the payout is your bet multiplied by the fish's multiplier.
- Special crabs and jellyfish: Laser Crab, Drill Crab, Bomb Crab and Flash Jelly Fish, up to 120x. According to SlotsJudge, each one uses a different cannon.
- Wheel Crab: up to 300x.
- Firestorm: a Rapid Fire Cannon that gives 60 to 100 bullets. The mode ends when the bullets run out.
- Golden Fortune Bag: up to 200x the bet.
- Dragon King's Treasure: when the Dragon King appears, you can win 10x to 300x.
- Golden dragons: they're the most valuable targets and the source of the 888x max win, according to SlotsJudge.
You do the aiming, but the payout is still based on the multiplier and the chance of catching the fish. Aiming doesn't change the game's long-run return.
Budget fit and boss math
Fishing games fire fast, so think of your budget as a number of shots, not pesos.
| Budget | Bullet value (example) | Shots before any wins |
|---|---|---|
| ₱300 | ₱0.50 | 600 |
| ₱300 | ₱1.00 | 300 |
| ₱300 | ₱5.00 | 60 |
A simple rule from our fishing game tips: about 0.5% of your budget or less per bullet. On ₱300, that's ₱1.50 or less.
Why do the Wheel Crab and Dragon King drain budgets? Because the multiplier is big, and a big multiplier means the big payout is rare.
Example (simplified model, not exactly how the game works): say the payout is 300× and the game returns 97% in the long run, split evenly. The chance of getting that payout on one shot is about 0.97 ÷ 300 = 0.323%.
| Shots at the target | Cost at ₱2/shot | Chance of NO 300× payout | Chance of at least once |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | ₱100 | ≈ 85% | ≈ 15% |
| 200 | ₱400 | ≈ 52% | ≈ 48% |
| 500 | ₱1,000 | ≈ 20% | ≈ 80% |
In this example, it takes about 309 shots on average to land one 300× payout. At ₱2 a shot, that's ₱619. This only illustrates the shape of the risk, it's not a prediction. The lesson: set a boss shot limit before you start.
Be careful with the Godlike level: if the bets there are higher, your budget runs out faster. RTP is an average over a huge number of plays, not your session. Read RTP explained and the volatility guide to understand why one night's result can be far from the RTP.
Myths and common mistakes
- "Godlike level means bigger wins." Payouts are bigger with bigger bets, but so are the losses on every shot that catches nothing. It doesn't change the long-run math.
- "97% RTP, so I'll make money." 97% is the game's long-run average across all players. You can still lose your whole budget in one sitting.
- "Chase the Dragon King until the treasure comes out." Without a shot limit, your budget can run out before you get anything.
- "When you lose, raise the bullet to win it back." This is the fastest way to drain your budget. A bigger bullet also means a bigger loss on every shot that catches nothing.
- "There's a hack or mod APK." That's a scam. There's no legit way to change the game's results.

Where to play legally
Play Fishing God only on a PAGCOR-licensed site. Lots of copies and fake "fishing apps" circulate on social media, and you have no recourse if you lose money there.
- Check the exact address. Enter the full domain in our PAGCOR license checker. A lookalike domain isn't the same as the licensed site.
- Only deposit through the cashier. Don't send money to an "agent's" personal GCash or Maya number. Read our GCash casino guide.
- Avoid mod APKs and "hacks." They're scams, and often come with malware.
