Paano laruin ang 6D
6D Lotto is run by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). Hindi ito PAGCOR game, kaya iba ang rules at iba ang legal na bilihan. PCSO calls it the "active gaming form" of the traditional sweepstakes.
- Pumili ng anim na digit. One number from 0 to 9 in each of the 6 columns of the play slip. Puwede ring sabihin na lang sa teller, or choose Lucky Pick (LP).
- Markahan ang halaga. Minimum ₱10 per combination. Puwedeng mas mataas sa AMT column.
- Advance draws. Same numbers for 2 up to 6 consecutive draws, via the DRAW panel.
- I-check ang ticket. PCSO says the player alone is responsible for checking the numbers, amount and draw date printed on the ticket.

Mga premyo kada tier
All matches must be in exact order. These are PCSO's published amounts per ₱10 play:

The 1st prize is pari-mutuel. Kapag walang nanalo, the 1st prize pool carries forward to the next draw. Kapag marami, hinahati ang pool ayon sa laki ng taya. PCSO's page says each winner gets at least ₱150,000 per ₱10, but it also says the 1st prize "may be lower" than published depending on the number of winners. Hindi pa verified kung alin ang masusunod sa bawat sitwasyon, kaya i-check sa PCSO kung mangyari.
Exact odds, with working
Each digit is 0 to 9, kaya may 106 = 1,000,000 possible tickets. Dito namin binilang kung ilan sa kanila ang nananalo sa bawat tier, counting only the highest tier per ticket. (Assumption namin iyan; hindi pa verified kung puwedeng manalo ng dalawang tier sa iisang ticket.)
- 1st: 1 ticket. Odds 1 in 1,000,000.
- 2nd: First 5 right, 6th wrong = 9 tickets. Last 5 right, 1st wrong = 9. Total 18. Odds 1,000,000 ÷ 18 = 1 in 55,556.
- 3rd: First 4 right, 5th wrong, 6th anything = 9 × 10 = 90. Same for last 4 = 90. Total 180. Odds 1 in 5,556.
- 4th: First 3 right, 4th wrong = 9 × 100 = 900. Last 3 = 900. Total 1,800. Odds 1 in 556.
- 5th: First 2 right, 3rd wrong = 9,000. Last 2 right, 4th wrong = 9,000. Minus 81 tickets na pasok sa dalawa (bilang isa lang), minus 18 na mas mataas ang tier. Total 17,901. Odds 1 in 55.9.
We double-checked these by computer, going through all 1,000,000 tickets. Any prize at all: 19,900 tickets, or about 1 in 50. Ibig sabihin, 49 sa bawat 50 tickets ay walang premyo. For the same math across every PCSO game, see PCSO lotto odds.
Magkano ang average na balik?
Expected value is the average amount a ticket pays back over a huge number of plays. Using the minimum 1st prize:
(₱150,000 × 1 + ₱40,000 × 18 + ₱4,000 × 180 + ₱400 × 1,800 + ₱40 × 17,901) ÷ 1,000,000 = ₱3,026,040 ÷ 1,000,000 ≈ ₱3.03 per ₱10 ticket.
Bago pa ang tax iyan, at nagbabago kapag may carry-over o hatian. Pero ang punto: on average, mga ₱7 sa bawat ₱10 ang hindi bumabalik sa players. Bahagi niyan ang napupunta sa charity programs ng PCSO. Ganyan ang lotto by design, kaya entertainment budget lang ang gamitin.
Myths na dapat kalimutan
- "Matagal nang hindi lumalabas ang 7, kaya lalabas na." Draws have no memory. Bawat draw ay bagong 1 in 1,000,000.
- "Hot numbers" at "cold numbers." Past results don't change future odds. Lahat ng 1,000,000 numbers ay pantay ang chance.
- "May sistema ako." No betting system changes the odds. Mas maraming taya, mas malaking gastos din.
- "May insider na nagbebenta ng numero." Scam iyan. Walang makakaalam ng resulta bago ang draw.
Paano mag-claim
Ayon sa 6D page ng PCSO:

Prizes above ₱10,000 are subject to 20% tax under the TRAIN Law, per PCSO. Sa 6D, ibig sabihin ang ₱40,000 na 2nd prize ay magiging ₱32,000 after tax. May paraan ba para mas madalas manalo sa 6D?
Wala. Bawat draw ay random at hiwalay sa nakaraan. Ang pagtaya ng mas maraming combination ay nagdadagdag ng chance pero pati ng gastos, kaya hindi ito panalo sa long run.
Ilang taon dapat para tumaya sa 6D?
